The Covid-19 Ad Memoriam Institute is a new Institute of the University of Paris and IRD, working under the aegis of the WHO Collaborative Center for Research on Health and Humanitarian Policies and Practices.

The Institute brings together multiple “worlds” – researchers, caregivers, artists, lawyers, victims’ associations, spiritual and cultural authorities and major currents of thought, representatives of civil society, etc. – to reflect together about the COVID-19 pandemic, which constitutes a major anthropological rupture for French society and, more broadly, our globalised world. The consequences for society will be numerous and long-lasting, and we must measure them and work to strengthen our capacities for anticipation and collective resilience. Everyone has a role to play.
